—Godly Living—

  1. Opening Question:

What is a time where someone forgave you, when maybe you didn't deserve it — what did that feel like?

  2. What Does this Teach Us about God?

  3. What Does this Teach Us About People?

  4. Main Point:

Because God has forgiven us a debt we could never repay, we're called to extend that same forgiveness to others. Refusing to forgive forgets just how much we've been forgiven.

  5. Discovery Questions:

What does this story show us about God and how He forgives? How big was the first servant's debt compared to what he was owed? Why do you think he refused to forgive after being forgiven so much? Is there someone you need to forgive this week? Who could you share this passage with?
